Springhill Ranch Cooperative Housing – Interest List for Housing Applications
Springhill Ranch Cooperative is opening an Interest List for potential applicants!
How It Works
-
We will establish an interest list of approximately 10 individuals who will be notified to apply.
-
Placement on the list does not guarantee a unit but ensures you will be contacted when an opportunity arises.
-
Those who make it the interest list will be required to attend an Information Session to learn about Cooperative Housing and what is expected. Date TBD
-
Applicants must be ready to proceed—those who refuse an offer to apply will be removed from the list and unable to reapply for two years or until the next intake period.
Important Details
-
No phone inquiries will be accepted.
-
Email springhillranch1216@gmail.com only once. You will be asked some questions regarding your housing needs; you must respond to be admitted to the interested list.
-
Once the list reaches capacity, additional inquiries will not be considered until the next intake period.
-
The interest list will be advertised exclusively on the SACHA website.
-
If a unit becomes available, applicants will go through the standard selection process, including financial evaluation, references, screening, interviews, and final Board approval. Given the current housing pressures in Calgary, our Co‑op is required to apply thorough and consistent screening practices to ensure fairness, accuracy, and due diligence for all applicants.
-
We don’t provide detailed breakdowns of screening results, but for applications, the most helpful thing is to ensure that all information is accurate and consistent. Full transparency helps prevent discrepancies during the verification process.
Selection follows a first-come basis with priority considerations during the housing crisis.
